yeeeaaahh!!! claret red 3G high five!!

Yours is in much better condition than mine, I've done both sills and footwells, as well as a few other patches, and the rear arches are ruined. You got off lightly!!!

The B18 sounds like a good plan. I've got a ZC in mine and being so light I think they suit the higher revving more powerful B engines.

Good progress with this so far guys as recently the UK is having some pretty awesome weather. All the doors and boot are now fitted and the roof has also been painted. The only panel left to paint is the bonnet.

Thanks for taking to time to document your experiences with your Civic. I appreciate your narrative, plus the pictures. I'm doing a restoration on a Silver 1987 CRX and my retoration issues are very close to your interms of rust and repair.  I will be referring to your BLOG and pictures often. Your efforts (and your Dad's) are not only directly going towards your civic, but alos helping me with mine.  I also appreciate the pics of your Dad shaping sheet metal too - I'll have to make jig like he has done - a wood jog/mold like he made is awesome for shaping.  Keep up the great work!

Wow.

That is looking superb! Keep up the good work. Interesting colour choice, NHS green? I like it actually, oldskool with a twist of minty fresh.

I'm sick with jealousy. I'll have to take mine to a shop to get all the welding done. Then I will be using your build as inspiration as I strip mine down over the winter.
