well, at the last "meet" it was me and kirk.. not too many others showed up. no wait.. only us were there.. pretty much it's just member to member. not any big meets. i meet up with squeeky sometimes at the autocrosses, kirk every once in a while. no one else really. keith edwards when he's racing.

Now that Jason (from NoVa CRX club) has been deployed, we are sort of disorganized. A meet is going to take someone to step up, do some work, and get everyone together.

Going to Hawaii? You need a Dune Buggy.

WTB: 14x8 or 9" Panasports or Watanabe RS.

WTB: 3g Civic hatch gauge cowl, brown.

Why don't we just meet at Hooters or something. It doesn't have to be a big event.

I think your idea is OK, but I think a big reason why a lot of people don't show up for these events is because they don't want to drive a long way to get there. Also, people think these driving events are going to end up being races, and some people are probably intimidated and avoid it. I think if we do something a little more mellow, like hang out a restaurant or park, more people would show.

That is Thanksgiving weekend. I'm fine with that. Maybe you should post on NoVa CRX club. I think it's better if we meet around Alexandria or Arlington.

i think the best idea for club meets is to pick a meeting point/location. then have a set day of every month like say every second saturday or something like that. that way everyone knows exactly when the monthly meet is and it can be better planned. i think that something like this would make for easier meets every month and a lot less planning.
When I die, i want to go asleep peaceful.......... not screaming and freaking out like everyone else in the car

"i left the bar a little after you and ended up flipping my car in the arbys drive thru"
