Just Trying to get an idea of how much everyone has in their rex's not including what you payed for the car. I've been really spending a lot of money on her lately. Grand total for me is about $700.00

Floor Mats
Clear Corners
Tune up box
Pace setter Catback kit
Magnaflow SS Muffler
Catco converter
Front spoiler
Xenon bulbs
RPR shift knob

This total not including Rota sliptreams and falken Azenis. :lol:As soon as I get my exhaust sorted I'm out going to focus on engine mods, not sure exacly sure what I'm going to do though. TT

Total Including the car, and not counting miscellaneous expenses on little bits and pieces (I have yet to total my reciepts) comes to $3800+ CAD.

Not bad.

Unfortunately I haven't done the major things because I never actually saved any of the money, I just spent it when I got it, if I had 3K in a big lump that would be nice because I could just spend it where I needed to and get the big stuff like suspension and motor work done.

Cheers,
Mark

Lets see...I got the car free...most of the money is in my stereo...

14" american racing AR24's with Goodyear Club Sports: $100
lighting (washer lights, headlights, marker bulbs, fogs): $60
K&N Filter: $35
Alpine CD/MP3 Headunit: $210
Polk 4" speakers (in dash): $70
Pioneer 6.5" speakers (in doors): $90
Cadence 6.5" component system (custom box): $100
Dual 460-watt 2-channel amp: $110
Boss America 600-watt 4-channel amp: $80
2 Rockford Fosgate Punch Z 12" subwoofers in box: $250
Misc. (air freshners, fuzzy dice, etc. ) $50

=$1155.....Wow...I thought I was at 800 or 900...no wonder my girlfriend is complaining...but that also upsets me...I could have had weber carbs, a cf hood, and my rust fixed for that....
There are 3 goals when modding a car.
Cheap, Reliable, and Fast.
Now the down side. You only get to pick 2...

We have a winner!!!

And I thought I put a lot of money into my car. I could add it all up, but it would only be depressing to think that I have poured so much time and effort in a 18 year old car that will never be worth the investment.

It is good thing that this is a HOBBY.
