i got this call this morning from a woman selling an 87 crx, she doesn't know if it's an Si or not, so i don't know if i need the tranny. the axle on one side snapped and it's got a new alternator and battery. she's only asking $100 for the whole thing.

i would be all over it, but my hubby might get pissed about it......we dont have the room for another car either, and i'm still waiting on getting my parts car here, which we dont have room for. that and getting it towed from lethbridge wouldnt be very cheap.

still tho a hundred bux for a crx?!?!?

just got back from looking at it.
she wasn't there so i couldn't check the engine, but so far it's a piece of trash.
front bumer toren apart, fenders carcked, axle gone, major rust. interior is still nice though. i'm thinkin i'll offer her something low then keep the engine, tranny, flush headlights, and whatever else i need then trash the body. but only if it's an Si.

just got back from another look at it. yikes! the floor pan on the passenger side is like completely ripped out. plus it's a DX so, no go.

it's red...kinda orange. the lights looked good, except the corner lens on the passenger side is cracked really bad.

What color is the interior? I need the interior drivers side panel. Doesn't have to have to have an armrest but it has to be black and no tears/rips in it. Must be pristine or easily cleanable. If JAYD brings it to Calgary I'd get some of my friends to pick it up for me. They come up to Edmonton all the time. If all else fails via Greyhound. JS

interior is black. door panel looked to be in good condition. it's got that grey center area though.

That's not a problem as it can be swapped out for the Si insert. Let me know what happens with the car. JS
