This idea is from another forum I frequent. Just some friendly competition to see who can pull the best lap times on the 'ring. The only rule is that it has to be a 3g or 1g. Post 'em up!

My first run I had 8:41.668 in an 83 Civic 1500 3door 25i. I will practice and tune a bit, and improve on that a bit.

(can't wait to break in the Motul 3g on here and see what it does!)

I get back from vegas on monday so i will run some laps then and see what i come up with.

Did you guys notice you have to run a 24 hour race there in the endurogh section?
I took one of my lm race cars there and without pitting it would be about 205 laps.(ouch) huh.gif

Build an insanely fast car, put it on B-spec mode and go away for 24 hours.

with the ballade sports. It is turbo with 215hp and 190 trq on med race tires.

My fastest so far is 7:10 in the Ruff BTR

Oh yea I am using the steering wheel too.

Not a bad idea. I wonder if the idiot computer driver would actually pit without you telling him to though.

No updates for me on times. I have been using the SHO for the little competition on the other forum. 7:24 and change so far.

Someone has got to break the eight minute mark real soon.

8:13.881 on my first lap in the Mugen Motul Civic Si. No modifications (other than what is already there) and a rudimentary suspension tuning. Should be good for 7:30 (or better) easy with a turbo and super-soft race tires.

*edit* Bought a bottle of nitrous. That and a generally cleaner run got me an 8:04.723.

*edit #2* Damn! 8:00.491! I quit for tonight. Tommorow, 7's will be mine!

Damn you beat my time now I have to go do some work and break into the 7s.

c25hatch you should contact PD and have them put your car on GT5. Now that would be cool!

On a diffrent note I ran a 7:00.386 with the Suzuki GSXR 4 last night and I think I can break into the 6s.

1g Supremecy, thanks for the tip. I am 7.5 hours into the Motegi eight or nine hour endurance race. All while I slept!

zackspeed, I am not sure what PD or GT5 are?

*edit* Used my winnings from that endurance race to pick up a stage 3 turbo and super-soft race rubber. Second run with these yielded a 7'27.182 with plenty of room for improvement. The Motul 3g rocks!

PD is Poliphany Digatal and they are the creators of Grand Turismo. You could get them to put your car on Grand Turismo 5. The creator of the game was going to shows and picking cars to put in GT4 and they will probably do the same with GT5.
