I was wondering if I could switch a 86 civic dx gauges to 86 si gauges to get a tach, factory aka (sleeper) look rather than the rice. by the way thanks for answering all my questions about civics biggrin.gif

You can, so long as it is from Civic to Civic, or CRX to CRX.

In your case, you might want to pick one out of a 1500S instead of an Si, because the 1500S is for the carbed car, where the Si is for the F/I car. Both WILL work, but the Si guage will have a little PGM-FI light instead of a choke light, though some people actually would like that better....

Cheers,
Mark

When I put a Civic SI cluster in my DX, the PGM-FI light turned on when I pulled the choke. Very cool... smile.gif

Never mind, I just realized who posted that... smile.gif
