Hello all...Me and my boy cyrus(1rstgencrxlover) when to the yard and dug up a si intake today...then we cut and modded it at his job..as you can see I plugged the injector ports with ep-200 epoxy..luv that stuff!!!
All in all this cbr600 carbs project is comming along...now all I need is a si head,and an electric fuel pump....I hope..lol
What yall think...any input on this project ???TOM

Thanx...Cyrus and I brewed this one up...hasn't anyone done this before or bike- carbed a 1.5 carbed engine???I wonder what kinda power increase i'll get any guess peeps???if not alot I need to jet these puppies...huh??TOM

thought i saw a pic where someone put nipple in the inj ports for vac

my carb manifold has the brake booster vacuum off #1 cylinder and the vac advance off #4. the water jackets pipes are cut off and jb welded over too.

for my cbr650 carbs the civic dx cable was too long. im going to have to fav a cable stop

What intake is that???and also what are those grey hose thingys you used going from the runners to the carbs????help...

Seeing how we're posting manifold pics . here's my D16A1 manifold with the carbs on it. I used tire valve stems, with the valves removed, to go where the injectors were so I can run vacuum lines from those to power the brake booster and the vacuum advance on the distributor.

Well I won these on ebay 2 days ago..lol they were on my front porch today...suprising....anyways I am having trouble lining this ew3 intake up with it...I need to either cut it more or huh???what yall think ???and like da carbs???TOMhelp

Reduce your runner length, and utilize some fuel resistant tubing. and some snake clamps for your runners.

Also ...do you see that little black lever on the top of the carb???a cable hooks up to that it looks like...its not throttle it makes something move..loll in each carb when you yank it....Choke????help???TOM

Yes, that is a manual choke. You are going to need to fab up a cable of your own to have this operate within the cabin. I think some parts stores might carry a kit. But I am not sure. You can always try to find a choke cable online or ebay.
