yea anyways i too went to the wreckers the other day .. and found the same thing .. its a jdm import ( all early hondas in australia were built in japan )
$90 AU which is about $60US or there abouts .. im going to pick it up next week its off a honda accord
im probably going to need to weld up my own manifold however take the accord manifold and use it for the carby side plates and take my ew2 engine side plates and get some stainless steel tubing weld it all together .. well see how we go
however one question can you change carbys with auto choke to manual choke .. im pretty sure it has auto choke if not i might not use a choke at all tongue.gif

Yeah you can. You just have to find out where the electric choke plugs in and disconnect it.

Also. If its a accord or prelude head, look at the valve cover. THe accord/prelude models have 3 bolts holding the valve cover on.(This is ofcourse if it is the motor I think you are talking about.
Honda, because it's hard to look baller in your mom's Volvo.Posted Image
The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

yea i know i can just disconnect it ( im a mechanic by trade but i specialise in efi ) but the question is can i turn the carby from auto choke to manual choke ... ill ask a few of the old school mechs at work see if they know .. my mates a welder so i have the manifold covered anyhow smile.gif) ill see how i go anyhow .. eheheh the thnig with cars is once you start spending money you never stop after the carby im going to get a cam and port and polish cool.gif
