Great write up. I sold the parts car you used and it is great to see your project. On my other car, a full out race EP crx I had a great lightweight exhaust that only made 90 dB.  2 1/2 in pipes with simple turndown under the car. Instead of mufflers it use two resonators, one 4" diam and 24" long and other the same diam and 12" long with 30" spacing between them. This changed my sound output from 99dB on the old set up to 90 dB which is less than half the sound output.
