So it's been 5 long years since i've had a hatch. I've been wanting to get one so i just bit the bullet and bought one. I picked up this little gem on saturday for 900.00 big ones. The car is bone Stock and NO RUST that i can find anywhere. She has a couple dings here and there.

So a little update

My stock intake tube was torn so i had some intake pipping laying around so i make a Short ram intake. Still need to paint the rest of the tubing. I also made it to were i can still run the stock air box for autocross. Only cost me 14.00 dollars

9q83.jpg

Also installed a 88+ dual bend short shifter. I will be doing a KAKABOX shifter. I not happy with the dual bend

ujg0.jpg

Also redoing the intake manifold gasket. For some reason someone at one time but a big amount of RTV on the intake.

7awn.jpg

Got the intake off. Thats as far as i got today.

What did the hood spacers do for you?  The picture looks like the hood still follows the line of the fender?

I just noticed that the hood spacer we not installed in that picture. The spacer claim to help bring the engine temps down. I was having some cooling issue so i wanted to see if that might help in anyway. Plus i like the look.

Finished up the 92+ half size rad install. the 92+ rad dont have the fan temp switch in the rad. So i bought a temp gauge T and drilled and tapped a large hole to put the stock fan switch into.

Added a 88-91 civic/crx Si cold air intake. You need to cut off 3 inches off the throttle body side of the intake tube. Fits perfect after that.
