good job man. what kinda power are u launching with? are u preloading the drivetrain? that can make a huge difference in 60ft. i went from a 1.8-1.9 to 1.60s consistently from just preloading. what size slicks and how old are they? i found with the MTs they don't last very. are u using a multi stage boost controller?

Its putting out 330hp/300tq right now. I am launching it at 6-7k...I tried 5k and it bogged...so my friend said to try to lauch at 8k rpm. Last time I preloaded, it would always lunge and start the clock, so I stopped...but I do slip the clutch. Maybe I will give the proloading a second shot next track meet 2 weeks from now wink.gif

The slicks are 24.5/8.5/13 and they are brand new....this is my first time running with them, so I can only get better. (M&H)

The boost controller is a greddy profect B but we have yet to turn it on....we are running off wastegate boost right now, and will tune with the boost controller after I get some seat practice.

here is the video....its not perfect quality, but I thought it looked nice tongue.gif I had to take the front bumper off because the slicks would rub in the turns tongue.gif I am the car in the lane nearest to the camera of course. I was racing a new body GTO

No luck tonight...we are thinking maybe it is the shift linkage as a possibility. I still have to baby it into 2nd gear, but the rest of the gears are perfect.

Best was an 11.90, so I didnt even best the last time sad.gif Still have a lot of work to do with practice on the clicks too...

what linkage do u have? and what trans? i had alot of 2nd gear issues as well. syncros were bad. they get beat up quick when racing. especially if u miss shift alot it will kill the syncros.

The linkage is an 86-89 integra that was cut and welded to fit....I was thinking of picking up a new set and rewelding it with the help of my friend since he is a professional welder.

The thing is that the gears never grind.....when my syncro was going bad on my other trans, the 3rd gear grinded slightly at high rpm...never had a prob with a 2nd gear before.

I just want to up the boost and keep babyíng it into 2nd tongue.gif

What's in it?

b16a, pct oem standard size pistons, skunk2 stage 2 cams-springs-retainers, completely untouched head, oem intake manifold and TB, 4-1-2.5' header with 2.5 exhaust with magnaflow muffler, oem flywheel with act clutch kit, oem crank pulley, pr3 chipped ecu, fuel regulator, 3' custom pvc intake with a cone in the headlight, S1 tranny no lsd, 205-45-15 nitto drags, all interior-radio speakers .... only remove the spare tire and jack. Launching the car at 3k rpms and reviing it to 8500, I try at 4k and run 2.7 in the 60's lol! After that I install a civic type r N1 crank pulley and do some mods, the car feels a lot better but never test it and start a new all motor project.

Nice setup. I just did the cam gears in my B16, so I'm hitting the track in the next couple of weeks to see how it goes.
