The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

I just wanted to take 1 second and thank everyone who keeps updating this discount code. It's not always very much, but it does help. I just ordered 2 belts from them today.

Caveat emptor on rock auto for sure. It is my personal opinion something
has gone on behind the scenes management wise way back. I have been
in a credit card dispute with them for months over a fitted catalytic converter
that didn't fit at all. I don't think I need to post all the details (and probably
should not anyway). But it is my personal opinion they have not dealt
in a truthful and forthright manner in regards to the dispute.

You add to that the pile of wrong parts they have sent me and it is the final straw.
You don't usually save all that much unless it is on clearance. So it only takes
one disaster (did not want to use a more harsh word in writing insert your own)
to wipe out any and all savings over just going and ordering through advance auto.

I do not order from them now.

the moment they stop just simply refunding my money or sending me the correct part when they inevitably send me wrong units, will be the moment I stop ordering from them. I don't blame you at all. I have had a very poor experiences with them for the last about 2 years. you may not save a ton on everything, but you can save a lot on some things. Those are the things I order from them now.

They lied their asses off. So now I'm out $88 for a fitted cat that is no where close to fitted.
That cancels out any and all savings I have ever had from them. Plus for the most part Advance
Auto they almost always get the part the next day. It is just a pain to drive down there.

But I am done with Rockauto.

I love Rockauto and have been stocking up on parts for my 84-87 Civics and CRXs. I found a lightweight rear aluminum brake drum (the Mugen one) for like $20!!! They only had one left, but I grabbed it. I will probably put it in the passenger side rear of my race car since there is always more weight on that side than on the driver's rear.

I have been using rockauto since 2009 and have given them plenty of business on several projects.

Even with shipping their prices meet or beat the local parts stores (in canada) and when things go on closeout, which they often do especially for our defunct models, the prices are unbelieveable.  $30 for a complete clutch kit.  $15 for a piston ring set.  Beck/arnley parts, old boxes sure, but so are our cars!

I feel bad for the reputable members having trouble, but I have not had one problem, know what you're ordering, do your research, price compare and 95% of the time rockauto wins.

About to give them a couple hundred bucks on closeout parts for a 3G prelude i'm working on.  Over $500 in parts locally for less than half the price!
