Do you think that these guys sell a quality product?

Can this type of rotor be resurfaced?

I have slotted Brembos on my CR-X, great quality. I actually boaught some ebay cheap slotted and drilled rotors for my DD Sentra because I warped 2 sets of rotors before them in hard driving. So far-so good. Lasted longer than the others, no problems yet. But the CR-X's Brembos are really nice. $94 for Brembos is a bargain.

brembo blanks are what i use. and what a lot of honda challenge guys run, too...

i don't know if i remember correctly, but i believe SP rules state you have to run the orignal style rotor, aka no slots or drilled. (just a heads up in case you are thinking about it..)

Rule 15.6 B, Steet Prepared Class:

B. Cross-drilled and/or slotted brake rotors may be used, provided
the replacement rotors have the same dimensions as standard
rotors and are of a standard-type construction and of ferrous
metallic material. This does not permit the use of a two-piece
hat/rotor assembly unless the standard configuration is twopiece.

I guess they are legal.

but if you maintain stock diameter, then you also lose brake surface by going to a drilled and/or slotted disk. for a run as short as auto-x, wouldn't it just make more sense to get higher temp pads?

sweet. back when i was in csp, i couldn't.

for an autocross only car, i'd do drilled cause they are lighter in weight, which would help more than braking.. as for a track-day car, i'd do standard blanks due to the heat involved, along with the stress that can cause cracking and such with slotted/drilled rotors. not to mention, they are cheaper to replace when they get warped.

I feel like such a tool. I should have waited and gotten those instead of my stainless lines with my slotted Brembos. Arrrrrrrgh! sad.gif

Genrally speaking you want to stay away from eGay stuff unless you know the seller or the product has been tested by fellow enthusiasts.
