Well my work is sending me to Austin Tx for 6 weeks
for some advanced equipment training at Applied Materials.
what I have gatherd thus far is I will be aprox 15 mins
away from the University close to downtown Austin.
any members from the area? that could tell me some hot spots? tracks,Bars,nice places to eat ect. I gotta find somthing to do there. I won't have my rex so I will have nothing to tinker on
I will have a rent a car to destroy like in Jeff's avitar.
would love to see some tracks so if you know of any local websites and run dates
that would rock

6th street. and hippie hollow. Every tourist needs to see these. Oh and the Larger than life statue of Stevie Ray Vaughn. Don't worry, you will meet plenty of people there that will be more than happy to tell you of places you need to go.

beware of the crazy rich guy that dresses in womens lingere. lol im not kidding!!!! last time my sister got a pic of him.....it wasnt pretty, lol.



rental cars are my favorite. burnouts and offroading!!!!fyi, vegetable oil and the ebrake is the shyte!!!!

There are plenty of great resturants on Barton Springs which is south of the river. I highly recommend Chuy's, great mexican food. 6th street is always fun, tons of live music. Basically I love going to Austin for the food. Try and go to a Freebirds if you can find one. Amy's ice cream is great. Have fun, Austin is a great town!

I would quit but I finaly found a job I like for a change. Its only six weeks plus they pay for everything and I make more monies to go
out on the road
I am doing the training for a job promotion If I don't have the training
no promotion so I will just have to deal.

hmmm im in austin right now.. hmmmm automotive stuff.. nothin big really goes down here.. hmm theres no racetracks too... but there are car meets on saturdays.. but i think they stopped it because the cops got strict.. hmmmm but if you love to party or just go to bars, downtown should one of be the best places.. lots of bars that play different kinds of music... if anything else just PM me..

are you kidding??? everybody that comes to Austin has to meet Leslie! he's actually run for mayor before. He's very well educated and quite a hoot to talk to, but yes, very eccentric.
