Mount copying is so slimey. Taking one guys hard work, expertise, and engineering ability, and copying it (then having the audacity to say it is the same thing) is automotive plagerism.

IMO if someone wanted to make mounts they would figure out how to do it themselves. Get a car and a motor and figure it out. Revise it 2 or 3 times.....then you might get some idea what the cost is for.

I know the Hasport stuff is not cheap, but it has been tried an true and the parts are very high quality and made in the USA. Hasport first put a b-serises in a 1g back in 1999. They are the innovators and the real mount pros out there. You can save money elsewhere, but nothing is going to have the fit, quality, look, and reliability of the real deal. Hasport is not cheap, and it is not unreasonably priced either. Before them, there were no mount kits for these cars.

I am sure Innovative is making their own kit, but I really have to stick with Hasport. As for anyone private or corporate copying an existing kit, boo on you.

You are on drugs if you even slightly consider making a custom part and copying someone else's custom part is the same thing.

And I never said it was boo on you if you made your own parts. Just if you copied someone else's.

So calm down, hot shot.

RODNEY(crxls) you know better than to upset people with disabilities, they are "special people" with special problems. Now appologize this instant!

btw moral debates NEVER work out to anyones profit on forums.

ps lets get back to the only 2 important subjects being discussed on this thread 1 b series mounts to be made by a different company and K series mounts. k series being a bit more important tho biggrin.gif

maybe not, but everyone else has an opinion they like to post up, I though I would too. It is a free internet you know. And my point to crxls is pretty valid, no?

K-series would be great! I give props to the first person to do it. That is a serious undertaking that would really impress. Much more difficult than ripping off another company's work.

There is plenty of room for smart asses online too man.

And that is more work than I am willing to (or can afford to) undergo. And it will annoy the shit out of me if some guy does it, releases a kit for $650, and some other unsporting jerk rips him off and makes a kit for less.

Guys, you are going to force me to close this thread. The antagonizing, the hypocracy. Be it Mugen kits or Mounts. Freedom of speech and the free enterprize system, are basis for DISCUSSION. Stop the fighting, Or this thread will be closed
Honda, because it's hard to look baller in your mom's Volvo.Posted Image
The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.
