I finally have this on my driveway as of tonight,

a very rare ballade sports sedan, this is the only one i have ever seen online or for real, it was in mint condition when i first saw it i always wanted it,
now i will have to part it out because its deregistered and has some rust issues, as well as an extremely smokey engine (might have a cracked head or something)

anyways here is the pics, sedan owners express your interest in the ballade conversion parts.

and an older picture i had of it when i caught it in town parked,

i will get some more photos of it tomorrow interior and everything else.

im thinking about this flip up light conversion onto my hatchback,

btw the header pannel and the flip up pieces are NOT plastic.

Oh, Oh, pick me, pick meeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!. I need to know exactly how the popups are wired, are they electric or vacuum actuated. I am very interested in the taillamps center and rear bumper as well as the front end. Definatley more pics.

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

The lights dont seem to popup at the moment i will look into it and get some pics and vids of them in action, they should be electric like on the CRX which i assume the extra wiring is just a ground and a 12v when the lights are switched on for them to flip up, for the conversion i believe you will need the following
Fenders, cornerlights, headlight pannel, possibly front bumper(will look into it) and for the rear conversion it will only fit if your center garnish is on the car not on the bootlid i will get photos of what i mean, and possibly the rear bumper as well, still want that DOHC hump?

I there rust in the sunroof?

the sunroof itself or the metal in the roof (lower pan) it sits into, i know the pan is in good condition just one small spot but i need to check the sunroof with the glass if thats what you mean.

wink.gif Why have a plain ole sedan when I can make it UBERspecial.

3GCVC: Yes, I would still like the hump. Please let me know what you mean by " it will only fit if your center garnish is on the car not on the bootlid i will get photos of what i mean" I had a deal with a member in africa, before someone stole his sedan and trashed his parts sedan.

On a side note, is there anyway I can get those plates?

More great finds. Very nice
If that metal header panel fits the crx, that could be what mine came from. Are all the bits for the pop ups the same as on the CRX? Want to know where mine could have come from.

Those plates those very ones, they are off my mates car so you probably cant have them we just put them on there to make the car look legal, around here when people deregister they hand the number plates in, so you can see that that would draw attention, but if you want a different set of NZ plates that could be arranged if it wasnt just DRE96 you were after lol.

The header panel is all metal indeed there is a little surface rust one the right hand side lid.

doors and fenders appear to have factory optional trims anyone else notice,
the center console is missing its door as well by the way.

the bootlid does not have the garnish on it is what i mean, the rear garnish is on the car, around here there is both variants so which do you have badpenny?

more pictures as promised,

Yep, I would need the UK tailgate panel. Like this

man, I would love the plaid, but I am going to have to pass at this time.

Center console and sunroof look yummy, but at the same time..... The fenders and popups, with corners are what I am after right now.

What size are the replacement headlamps? 6545, 4666??????

And possibly the throttlebody, and Speedo cluster.

PM me with a pricelist.
Oh and I need to add the BALLADE CR-i badge.
