I hear of lots of peeps doing the swap into the 3rd gen civic, but NO detailed write-ups with GOOD pics outside of Photo-bucket..

 

I have a few motors stashed away and would like to get this started at least..

I know and don't mind the extra weight up front, and plan on 24mm bars up front so don't think it's gonna bother me.

 

I have a few harnesses from SI's and a few tegs so those can be used. and YES, I know about axles etc. Just really want GOOD info from those who've done the swap and what they'd do different next time around.

 

I have only a couple choices. Injected or carbs (yes, already have an intake. But thinking of welding up a different style intake.)

What type of mileage? Not that goofy of question, I know it's not going to get in the 30's but would like to see what others are getting.

I'm most likely going with an LS 5spd and 16" wheels, and have those side flares, but don't know if 17's will work for a regular driving car.

 

Anyhow. Lets hear what you've done with details and pics.

Some of these articles are SOOOO old and not finished that I was wondering if anyone knows of company's that will strip down a harness to modify for a B series drive train? Been SUPER busy and don't get on here very often. BUT could still use the info? I tried MONO-tech but they want the vehicle to make the harness, which is a no-go for me. I shoulda got with rywire back when they were doing the white 3g SI.. Thanks E
