No your fitment of custom parts is what set everybody off. I do like your new wheels though...

Yeah I got you, but please understand, we actually are not in the states, we here in DR and to be honest with you, there is not a lot of people with experience on things like this like ovathere ya know... We do get a lot of JDM parts straight from Japan but not a lot for 3rd gen Civics... That´s messed up, that´s way we been getting parts from other modern Civics to make this one look "alright" and stand out from the rest of them...

We will deff. try to work on the fitment of the other parts in the car for the next event...

Nope, they back brakes locked on us once and there was not time to fix them before the event, so we took everything out on the back and just rolled with the front disc, we will be gettin some rear disc pretty soon...

SRR made anodized bumper releases but they are now discontinued. Sets still come up on Ebay once in a while.

BTW Sir, I seen your car a few times and your build thread is great too... Keep it up...

Thanks buddy...I usually HATE white wheels on pretty much everything, but those new wheels look great on your car. I really like the red lugs and the painted axle nuts smile.gif

Thank you much Sir, but I can´t take all the credit for it, (just in case) the car is not mines, Luis3D is the owner of the car, him and I go way back, since I had a lot of 3rd gen Civics some time ago, you can say we more like brothers, and this proyect car got some help from me since day one, I actually found those wheels on the F/S thread on our local site, and right away I called Luis up and told him about them, same with the OEM top wing and some other minor parts the car has so far...

We actually love the way these wheels look like on the car, we be getting crazy buying really rare -hard to find wheels- for it, so far we have 4 sets lien around the house, lol (The Volks, Spoons, Mugens and now the Sprint Harts)

We also came up with a "crew/team/3rd gen Car Club" (whatever you wanna call it) we have so far around 20+ members, but there cars are not all nice like this one, some of them were sold already and the rest are getting things right with them, this one here is the representation of the crew here... On every event we go, the car takes 1st, 2nd or 3rd place nothing less than that... However we always happy with the results, since the competitors are no joke, last event (last sunday) we were competing with all hooked up LHD S2Ks, two ITR (LHD) and mad true JDM Civics (Vi-RS) and still we manage to get 3rd... The car was actually tied with one of the ITRs and revaluaded and didn´t take home 2nd by 3 points (damn it, lol)

NEhow, we are going to continue getting the car to a high standard and once we get it there, it´s going to be a show car only, mean while is a DD (sucks, to drive that thing around every day but money is a huge factor on getting another DD car)

Thank you much for your comments, and keep em coming...

hahahaaa. that sucks. that's what i figured... i didn't know if you guys just had a different brake setup or something trick... looks like the teg disc setup too..

nice job on painting/powdering the pieces. should look nice..

btw, i like the steps you guys have taken with the car since the first post. it looks much better imo.
