About Me

I don't agree with calling someone a "ricer" just because they like something you don't.

I don't think I've ever seen a single time when there was something on a car that I liked (someone else's car) that someone else called "ricey".

Here's the fact... if it's tastefully done, regardless of whether it's aftermarket taillights, "JDM" pieces, whatever it is, it's still fine. Someone put their hard earned money and their own time into making things the way they wanted them. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about their car, THEY built it. THEY have to live with the result.

Maybe next time they won't build it quite like that. Maybe they'll grow out of some idea of style they had. Maybe it was a first project, and they were just "testing the waters" so to speak, to see what could be done.

You can't say that isn't the way it is... if you've ever done a project, or even modified ANY part of your car, and it was the first time you did it, you weren't sure in the beginning how it would turn out... and when you were done, even if it wasn't quite PERFECT, especially by every one else's standards, you DIDN'T CARE! You kept it that way, because that was YOUR WORK AND MONEY.

When others judged you negatively for using those parts/methods, you either blew it off, or got offended. How do you think everyone else feels about it when you do it to them?

OK, so I've gone a little off topic here... after all, this is supposed to be about ME.

Frankly, there isn't much about me. At least I don't think so. Apparently, I'm really smart. (I say apparently b/c I consistently test @ 130 or above on standard IQ tests.) (And everyone usually tells me.)

Alot of people hate that I'm smart. Something about the way I do things seems backwards to them, I guess. But I usually try to do everything in the easiest way possible, or at least a way that will teach me something.

I'm always willing to help people, on one condition. YOU HAVE TO BE WILLING TO HELP YOURSELF.

More later.

I like to hang out with people that have similar interests... but by hang out, I mean work on cars or stuff... and by people, I mean mature individuals who don't get pissed when everything in life doesn't go their way, and by similar interests, I mean exactly that.

Have a brew, but don't get trashed, be responsible for yourself, and have respect for EVERYONE, regardless of one person's likes or dislikes vs. yours. We don't all like the same thing.
