Can you find me a carbed. ZC motor for my '86 DX?(CRX)
Those are pretty hard to come by. I know someone who has taken a FI ZC and carbed it, but it's not going to be straight-forward. If you wanted some good horsepower, you could go dual Weber carbs, but they are big bucks ($2500+). I don't know how mechanically inclined you are, but I am about to start carb to FI conversion on my 85 DX. I have a donor car that I am basically going to strip for parts.
If you are really interested in the swap, let me know
and we will try to source a carbed ZC for you. They
were only used in Europe, so it might be expensive...

The entire tool selection at Sears or the contents of a Snap-On truck will do you no good if you do not know how to use them.

Tom's profile shows he joined on the 25th of November, 2001, but he replied to the user in the second post on the 22nd of April, 2001.
Whoa! Time machine!
So where is the very first post to RPR? Is there a way to find it?

Interesting. Something must have happened to thread index, because the oldest thread should of course be showtopic=1, but that one is from November of 01.
As to why my dates are screwy, I fudged it. I setup some test accounts, and then some people actually joined, so I was like member number 23 or something, so I did some database manipulation to get back to 1, but I obviously forgot to change the date. I had no inkling back then that the site would even still be around almost ten years later...
It shows you how small the site was when you can post a first name in the title, and know that the person you are referring to will see it...

Doh! It never occurred to me to just type in the topic number.
It's fun to cruise some of the earlier posts. It really shows how this place has come a long way!
