The chassis on these cars are not the stiffest, so adding a strut brace and fender braces help to increase rigidity.
But the real problem is the plastic used by Honda. Frankly, Honda never thought anyone would keep these cars alive for 20+ years. Back then, the company probably figured the product lifecycle was 5-10 years.
Search for threads about fixing the plastic, there are lots of good ideas on how to "glue" the bits back together. There are also good threads on were to order new fenders.
On my car, when I installed new fenders I slathered a good layer of fiberglass on the backside to add some strength.

you can try unbolting all your panels a putting a small piece of a aluminium inbetween were the fenders meet the frame this will let them slide back a fourth slightly so there will never be any stress cracks it has worked for me so far may want to give it a try especialy with the header panel
