Booked june 10 off work, i work till 7 pm friday night but i'm in!
I got the Megasquirt idleing nice. the interior is back in including the new alarm and such. going to try to paint the car (widebody) next week. then it's tune, tune, tune!

Should be a go! can't wait.

what time are we all going to meet sat. morning?
i need to decide if i should leave friday night ( get there at midnight or wake up at 3:30 in the morning on sat. and head straight to the track!

Was planning to leave Friday afternoon with 2nd CRX in tandem. Haven't decided on overnight arrangments yet. Still some time to decide. Give me a buzz tomorrow. I leave for work at 2 PM and plan to sleep in a bit in the AM. JS

Well, we are planning to meet up Friday afternoon and head over to the open drag racing that night. Then when that's all done, we can camp out in RaceCity's parking lot for the night and get up Saturday for the skidpad sometime early in the morning.

We only have the skidpad booked 'til noon, so the earlier the better.

For Friday night, the track gates open at 5pm, tech starts at 6pm and runs until 9pm. Secret Street racing begins at 7pm. So it would be best to get there sometime before 9pm if you want to race.

I'll probably get into Calgary around 4pm on Friday.

Yeah il be there at about 9 on friday, prolly just watch because i wont do open drags. I might even be later, even 12. I have a concert im going to that night as well.

ur car lool=ks exactly like mines all red 87 si so do u still run original stock motor or u got a swap ??? im getting a swap becasue i have no idea of where to get the original engine from i had found one with less thean 40k on it but was sold the same day......

*We have 'til ~4pm Friday June 9th to pay for the skidpad rental on Saturday.

I'll be there on Friday. My son in law will be there late Friday night because of not getting off work til 6PM. I believe wesider will be coming on Saturday AM. I will be talking to him on the weekend to confirm. JS

We're probably gonna be meeting up at RaceCity sometime Friday night.

But my plans will most likely be as follows:
-Get into Calgary around 3pm.
-Grab something to eat.
-Head over to Unlimited Performance & Exhaust to look around and pick up some parts.
-Cruise around a little.
-Go to Race City sometime before 4:30pm to talk with the guys about the oval rental (and hopefully pay ).
-Then enter Secret Street at Race City.
-Have a look around at other's rides and see what some of the CDRA guys brought.
-Hopefully we'll meet up.
-Drag race, Auto-x... and repeat.
-When it's all over, camp out in Race City's parking lot for the night.
-Get up Saturday morning. Grab a bite.
-Come back to Race City to join everyone on the skidpad around 8AM.
-When it's ALL over, I might go to the Olympic Oval to check out DTP 2006 for a while.
-Then it's back on the road, heading home to Lethbridge.
